TRL: JC and Lance in Da House

A silly little thing brought on by how the guys started handing out tickets willy-nilly on the TRL @ Your House thing...

"Dude, we've gotta find a way to boost ticket sales."

"No one's buying them on Ticketmaster. I went in today and scored floor seats to Giants Stadium. What up? Ya think maybe we should have released the album first?"

"Doh!"

"I always get the order mixed up, dude."

"Lay off the crack."

"Hey, low blow."

"That's not a low blow. But if you'd like one I'd be happy to oblige."

"Shh! Carson's listenin', dudes!"

"You can blow Carson, dude."

"EWWWWW!"

"He looks like he could use it."

"Not from me, he doesn't."

"But you're so good at it."

"How would you know?"

"A little birdy told me."

"That little birdy is going to Colonel Sanders."

"So it's true?"

"Maybe. Maybe not."

"C'mon, spill. I mean, tell."

"Are you kidding? Live on MTV?"

"We're at commercial."

"I don't care. They're still watching. Besides, why do YOU want to know so badly."

"Just curious, I guess."

"Curiosity killed the cat. But..._satisfaction_ brought it back."

"It did? I mean, oh my goodness, I wasn't implying, I mean...oh my goodness."

"You started this, dude."

"I did, didn't I. Well, okay, so I'm curious. And maybe I want...satisfaction."

"And maybe I'm not interested in satisfying your curiosity."

"Oh. Man, forget I even brought it up."

"Maybe I said that wrong. Maybe what I meant was I'm not satisfied in JUST satisfying your curiosity."

"Oh. OH. Um, wow. Um, now I'm REALLY curious."

"Are you anything else?"

"Right now, I'm kinda...oh my goodness. Let's put it this way: I don't think I can move from this couch."

"Actually, what I wanted to know was if you were interested and not just curious, but that will do."

"Interested? Heck yeah. I'm very, very interested."

"What I want to know is if you're interested in me or in getting blown."

"Well, see, no matter how I answer that, I could be screwed. I mean...oh gosh, not that way...but if I say I'm interested in you and you're not interested in me, I've just made a complete fool of myself."

"Would it help if you knew you wouldn't be?"

"Are you serious? Okay then--I'm interested."

"That wasn't so, um, hard, was it?"

"Heh, now that you mention it, it is."

"We'll just have to do something about that."

"Good. Because I don't think I could take the suspense much longer."

"Then maybe you could kiss me."

"Me, kiss you? Wow! Um, yeah. I guess." After a moment's hesitation, Lance shifts to his knees, still on the couch, not knowing what to do with his hands. Finally, he takes JC's hands and pulls him down, closing his eyes and tilting his head, hoping JC can't hear the pounding of his heart.

"Maybe I could kiss you," JC murmurs, and does just that. Lance is glad he's got the couch to fall back on if he needs to, because his legs wouldn't support him if he was standing. The kiss is electric; he's never felt anything this powerful before. When it's over, he keeps his eyes closed.

JC looks down at the younger man. "That's a much better beginning."

"It's a great beginning."
